Rhapsody Of Fire

Snow-covered peaks instead of frozen castles. Ski lifts instead of dragons. The quest remains the same.

When Rhapsody Of Fire arrive in Mayrhofen, the Alps become the perfect setting for their legendary tales. For more than three decades, the Italian pioneers of Symphonic Power Metal have blended cinematic orchestration, lightning-fast riffs and unforgettable choruses into epic adventures. Their latest album, Challenge the Wind, continues that legacy with soaring melodies and full-speed power metal.

So buckle up your ski boots, grab your imaginary sword and prepare to trade mountain trails for enchanted lands. At Full Metal Mayrhofen, the only avalanche you'll have to fear is made of double bass drums and heroic sing-alongs.

DOG EAT DOG

Wer behauptet, Crossover sei tot, war offensichtlich noch nie bei Dog Eat Dog.

For more than three decades, the New Jersey legends have ignored genre boundaries with glorious confidence, blending hardcore, rap, punk, funk and enough groove to keep every circle pit moving. Add a saxophone to the mix, throw "No Fronts" into the setlist and suddenly the Alps feel a whole lot louder.

Altitude may affect your breathing. Dog Eat Dog will take care of the rest.

U.D.O.

There is Metal.

There is Heavy Metal.

And then there is U.D.O. .

For more than five decades, Udo Dirkschneider has been one of the defining voices of Heavy Metal. While trends came and went, genres evolved and faded away, UDO simply kept doing what he has always done: pure, uncompromising Heavy Metal. No filters. No compromises. No need to chase whatever comes next.

This isn't about nostalgia. This is about legacy.

From “Balls to the Wall” and “Metal Heart” to “Fast as a Shark”, these songs weren't written to be remembered—they were written to be played loud. Very loud.

The Alps are built from solid rock.

So is U.D.O.'s career.

Heavy Metal doesn't get cold. It just puts on a leather jacket.

Feuerschwanz

Some people head to the Alps for skiing. Others come to lose their voice at a Feuerschwanz show.

Somewhere between dragons, medieval madness, folk anthems and riffs heavier than your ski boots, Feuerschwanz have perfected the art of turning every crowd into one giant choir. Whether you're a long-time fan or just here for the glorious chaos, expect singalongs loud enough to echo through the Zillertal.

Après-Ski? Gibt’s. Après-Feuerschwanz? Muskelkater im Nacken und keine Stimme mehr.

And because a full week of metal between snow-covered peaks can never have too many guitars, there’s one more lineup update: two additional bands are joining the bill and finalizing the program.

Heartless Human Harvest bring uncompromising extreme metal to the Zillertal – exactly the kind of sonic force you need for a week where the amps will probably run hotter than the heaters in Mayrhofen.

Meanwhile, Nordhelden from Kiel are bringing a fresh breeze from the northern coast to the Alps. The cover band delivers a rock-packed set full of classics from Bryan Adams, ZZ Top and Kings of Leon – perfect for everyone who wants to sing along between the heavier sets.

In short: the slots are set, the lineup is complete, and Mayrhofen is ready for a week where the mountains stay tall – but the volume goes even higher.

The mountains are shaking: here are the day tickets

And since metal knows no boundaries in the Zillertal, here's a reminder:

A massive echo thunders down from the towering rock faces deep into the valley — the final lineup has arrived!

And the latest additions really bring the heat:

The Butcher Sisters kick off our neck-breaking downhill run straight into the Zillertal, closely followed by the Styrian Death Metal heavyweights Grimming.

With Evil Jared & Krogi, two more absolute slope demons are ready to hit the boards. Speaking of the devilish — the british DJ duo Cowgirls From Hell burn their way straight from the glacier to the purgatory. Equipped with unseen precision and a whole lotta hits out of the hard and heavy.

With DJ Hüby, DJ Markus Babbel, and the mysterious SM Pitcontrol, the holy trinity of the dancefloor has assembled. While others dedicate their lives to the slopes, this fearless trio invites you to some proper neck-wrecking action on the dancefloor.

No Full Metal Mayrhofen riot without a solid dose of tradition. And that’s why we’re flying Maschine in — and weighing him in Kasspatzen, no less.

To make sure the whole madness blends just right, Die Analphabeten crank every dial up to twelve.

It’s going to be fast. And honestly — Full Metal Mayrhofen, what more could your heart possibly want?
